Mid To High Profit Margin Items

In general, mid- to high-priced items do better in Etsy ads. This is because Etsy ads are charged the same way for all products. Usually the cost per click is similar for any products. That means for lower priced products, the Etsy ads will contribute a higher percentage of costs, making them less profitable.


I did a 2-month experiment on my Growing Your Craft Etsy shop, and because of the nature of digital products, Etsy ads are not profitable for my Etsy shop.
